History
Birimgan West is the western counterpart to Birimgan East in the Clermont gold district. Together the Birimgan areas cover a wide stretch of gold-bearing country.
What You Can Find
Alluvial gold in creek systems. The area has produced fine to coarse gold from shallow alluvial deposits.
Getting There
Located north-west of Clermont. Access via unsealed roads. High-clearance vehicle recommended.
