Wyandotte Creek is a general permission area in the Lava Plains district, sharing the geology that has made Lava Plains well known as a sapphire collecting locality.
What You Can Find
Sapphires in creek gravels and gullies. Small deposits of spinel and zircon are also found in the area.

Remote location south-west of Mount Garnet. 4WD essential.
